First of all I would like to welcome everyone who has visited my site and secondly, all the people that are in my pictures. I made this site for people like YOU who wish to know a little more about me (Frankie). I'm not a professional web designer as you can tell already...this is my first website on the intent of sharing my personal photos with all my friends. If you do not want your pictures posted on my site please forgive me and email me at frabv@yahoo.com and I will remove them without any problems. I do not hold any responsibilities for any actions taken from viewing my pictures. Don't worry..i will post only in good taste. As of Monday, November 13th, 2000 I will be updating my website with pictures that I have accumulated throughout the years. |

Here's a little more about myself. If you don't know already, my name is Francis Valencia (friends call me Frank). I was born in San Diego California on April 29th, 1973. My father is retired from the Navy so I've had my share of traveling around the world. I've lived in California, Illinois, Japan, Italy, and now here in Virginia. My parents moved to Virginia Beach in 1981 so I basically grew up in this area. I attended Indian Lakes Elementary, Brandon Junior High, and later on to graduate at Salem High School in 1991. I went straight to Tidewater Community College in 1991 to study graphic communications, which later went downhill, and decided to join the Army in 1994. I had no sense of direction in my first few years of college so I decided to take a break and serve my country. The begining of my military career started on March 16, 1994. From there I went to boot camp in Fort Jackson, South Carolina. After graduation I was sent to Fort Eustis for training in my field. After completion of my training I was stationed at Fort Eustis for the remainder of my enlistment. I belonged to the 7th Transportation group, 567th Transportation company, 2nd platoon. The most exciting times of my life were in my years serving the 7th transportation group. I made alot of friends in my company and traveled to places were I would have never gone before if I had not joined the army. The second month after getting stationed at Eustis, my company was put on a 24 hour alert which meant that I could be ready to leave the country in that time period and be where I was needed anywhere in the world. I went to Saudi Arabia for two weeks soon after Desert Storm was over. I participated in operation Vigilant Warrior which was to reinforce the front line with thousands of pieces of wartime equipment and amunition. I worked at the port for 18 hours everyday for 2 weeks straight. |
